Smoother Than Smooth 2010 Class Schedule

Ft. Stevens Recreation Center, Northwest, D.C.

Beginning May 27, 2010 Kevin will be teaching with Tippi Mavritte on Thursdays* at Ft. Stevens Recreation Center (1327 Van Buren St., NW, Washington, DC).  The six week session will run until July 15, 2010.  Classes will be held from 7:30PM until 8:45PM.  For more details and to enroll contact Tippi Mavritte at (301) 559-3364.

Fredericksburg, Virginia

New Beginner and Intermediate classes will be held each Saturday starting January 23, 2010 to May 1, 2010* – (15-Week Session)

A Graduation Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010

New Beginner and Intermediate classes will be held each Saturday from May 8, 2010 to August 28, 2010* – (15-Week Session)

A Graduation Ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010

New Beginner and Intermediate classes will be held each Saturday from September 11, 2010 to December 18, 2010* – (15-Week Session)

Class Times

  • Intermediate/Advanced Workshop – Every Saturday 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm*
  • Beginners Class – Every Saturday 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm*
  • Intermediate Class – Every Saturday 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm*
  • Group and Private Lessons – Every Saturday 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm*

*No classes will be held on the following dates: May 29 (Memorial Day), July 3 (Independence Day), September 4 (Labor Day), December 25 (Christmas Day); Classes will not be held at Ft. Stevens on June 17 and June 24.

In case of inclement weather the students will be notified via email of any class cancellations.

Class Enrollment Costs

There is a one time Registration Fee of $5.00 per student.

The Class fee is $10.00 per class for Beginner or Intermediate  or $150.00 for the entire 15-week session.

The Class fee is $10.00 per class for Intermediate/Advanced Workshop.  Intermediate/Advance Workshop is offered to graduates and advanced dancers on a drop-in basis.

Group or Private Lessons Costs

  • $45.00 per person for one (1) hour
  • $65.00 for couples
  • $120.00 for a group of 4 to 6 people

Payment Options

You may pay as you go, pay for several classes or pay for the entire 15 week session in advance. However, we do suggest that you consider these options carefully, since advanced payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
